About the Program
The Citizens Police Academy is a 12-week program that is designed to provide a working knowledge, understanding and background of the Sebastian Police Department. This program is intended to foster a closer relationship between our agency and the community by developing an informed citizen capable of using their newly acquired knowledge to help improve the conditions and quality of life in our community. The academy provides an avenue for community involvement and provides a firsthand experience of policing. Those that attend are educated, enlightened and empowered citizens!
Costs & Rewards
There is no cost to attend the Citizens Police Academy. Upon completion, members will be awarded a "Certificate of Graduation."
